Vodacom the worse provider

Vodacom shop ilanga mall nelspruit I have been trying to do my sim swap for three weeks they do not want to help me . I was told they sold my number to RMCS without my concern nw I'm struggling to get my sim swapped

How long should I wait to get my number it has been mine for over 20 year I didn loose it it is still in my possession my sim card doesn't fit on my new phone that is why I'm doing a sim swap so why is it so hard to do a simple thing
