Vodacom - the Satanic Spawn of the Corporate World
Vodacom continues to prove how insensitive and unprofessional they are!!! Foregoing for the moment the absolute disaster they have made of my personal account, what they have done to my recently-widowed mother is heinous and beyond belief.
My father died on the 3rd of February after just renewing his contract. Yes we strongly advised him not to and he was also at wits end with their complete lack of service and consideration after he had been with them since Vodacom entered the country. (Talk about being loyal - something this conglomerate of ******* and mafia obviously does not appreciate!) But he relented after they promised to improve. (How easily Vodacom does not honour their promises...)
After his passing, my mom followed due process to have the contract cancelled and was fed different processes and consequences. She has faithfully submitted all documents and followed up regularly, following all requirements and commands as prescribed, amongst the lack of communication between departments (an infamous Vodacom shortcoming). Now as any widow, freshly grieving, she is trying her best just to cope and get through a day, minute by minute, but Vodacom keeps moving the goalposts or blames her for administration problems they have incurred.
Today was the last straw for her and she has broken down. and when you do that to my mother Vodacom, you will pay the consequences!!! Here everyone is doing their best and bending over backwards to comfort and support her, and Vodacom, the satanic spawn of the corporate world, does all in its power to frustrate, confuse and upset her.
They have cancelled the whole process, claiming not to have received the documents because she put a lowercase letter in the email instead of an uppercase letter. However, my mom has record of all the delivery reports for the emails (surely an incorrect email address would have bounced) and they have disconnected my father's number, which they can only do if they have the required documentation. Vodacom, as is their MO, is LYING!
Now the process, which has already taken more than a month, has to be restarted and she has to coninue paying??? Not on my watch.
Contact my mother immediately Vodacom, and before you say a word, APOLOGIZE PROFUSELY. Yes, grovel. Send her flowers. And SORT THIS OUT!!! I am a social media professional and I will implement a social media campaign that 'skriks for niks' and Vodacom should be well afraid of!
