Vodacom - the robot

Trying to communicate with Vodacom is like dealing with a robot – everything is automated and not user friendly. I have been trying for several days to obtain a Vodacom itemised bill for 1 October 2024 until 15 November 2024. I require this information to claim for work I have been doing which required daily calls on my cellphone. I tried requesting the information on the App – but the computerized character that I interacted with could not give me what I required. It was the most annoying process! After trying for more than an hour I eventually got hold of a call centre human agent, who told me because of the package I’m on he could not assist me. He said there is absolutely no way to obtain a once-off itemised bill on my account. How bazaar is this?! In this modern era and after the huge amount I spend on Vodacom... Maybe time to say goodbye to Vodacom – a company that has become a machine and forgotten how to interact with its human clients? Susan Niehaus
