Vodacom The Grove mall's pathetic service!!!

On 2 June 2019 (Sunday) My husband and I went to Vodacom The Grove mall in the east of Pretoria to get an upgrade as I had lost my phone the previous day. We got to the store and spoke to a guy by the name of Thabo. We chose to upgrade on an Iphone 8s of the repayment of R599 per month. He assured us that all was in order and we will get the phone during the week. On Tuesday as we were at the mall doing some shopping we decided to go check if the phone has not yet arrived and we were told that the phone will be there the next day. And was also advised that because the account is that of my husband, I need to come with a letter of authority and his ID document. The next day which was yesterday (5/6/2019) I went to the store and then was helped by a lady called Lindi who was not even apologetic about the whole situation. She said that we were supposed to have app**** for a new contract and showed me some forms my husband needed to fill and told me that I won't be getting the phone that day. I asked her to call her manager by the name Ciska she did but she did not even come up with a solution.I left the store irritated. This morning I called the store asking to speak to Ciska who is the store manager and they said she is not available. The guy (Michael) I spoke to said he will tell Thabo (who initially helped us) to call me. And he did call me and said that he is going to process everything and we can come later to sign and get the phone. He then contacted me around 15:20 and said that my husband has already done an upgrade on the 04/06/2019 which is Tuesday of A samsung galaxy S8 at in one of the malls in Cape Town. I then told him that that's not possible, we stay in pta and how come was it not seen yesterday when I was at the shop. So my husband called Vodacom they say that the phone was collected from that mall in Cpt and he now needs to do an affidavit at the police station and the investigation will take up to 2 months and in the meantime he will have to pay for a phone we know nothing about and I still don't have the phone. What a pathetic service we got and on top of that we have to pay for something we know nothing about.
