Vodacom - Terrible service
please see my previous complaint. it has been 3 weeks since my initial complaint. I had one phone call where the agent asked me to reply to his email which he would send for certain information that they needed. I did this immediately upon receipt of the mail, just to find that the address could not be rep**** to. I've spent hours on the phone to them to try and sort out my fiber issues. I eventually got to an agent called Rene (she was exceptionally helpful, but could only do what she could) who escalated my query (SR***). i then called to follow up again a day or 2 later, just to hear that an technician was booked for Friday 24 Dec at 14:00. we adjusted our plans to be available for the afternoon, but nobody pitched. Not even a phone call to apologise for not being able to make it. We have had no internet for the past 4 days!!! Is this really the standard of service to be expected from a supposed world class organization like Vodacom? surely there must be somebody working there that can understand the frustration and be able to do something to sort this problem out?? Not only is the main line unstable, but it seems that the actual installation to my house might be faulty. i am posting this as a new complaint as well seeing that Vodacom doesn't read replies on previous posts. In addition to this every single call (except the one with Rene) was disheartening to say the least...no empathy and no apology from any of the people I spoke to. What measures do I have to resort to to get any action out of this *********** organization??? i am paying money for their services and not receiving any value for my money at this point in time. Do i really have to resort to complaining on every social media platform available?? seems my calls to their call center is falling on deaf ears.
Please refer to my complaint above. As stated I did reply to the email of 10/12/2021 however the email address I rep**** to came back and stated that it is an undeliverable email address. The response above yet again proves that you do not listen nor read correspondence with diligence. It is a constant battle to get someone to speak to in person in order to get my complaint resolved.
I really do not grasp as to why we need to continue to engage on email if that course of action was unsuccessful as stated above. Please review all complaints I have submitted on Hellopeter the past 3 weeks and you will notice that proof of the undelivered email was supp**** in the complaint.
Please may I request that a senior manager or the Head of your client service department contact me as I am receiving no joy from the interactions with your call centre staff, escalations and complaint staff. I have a need to engage with a senior staff member who knows how to treat a client as a person instead of just a number or just another complaint to tick off a list. If this is the type of treatment I receive I can just imagine how many other clients are as adversely treated. This treatment is just yet another example of how you are in contravention of your own code of conduct.
I am at a point in time where my trust in Vodacom as a service provider has completely been broken purely because of the fact that staff promises to revert back to me and do not deliver on these promises and the lack of compassion they have as and when I need to follow up.
The timelines provided are not met, therefore I will be insisting on feedback before close of business today 28 December 2021. As stated above, if no satisfactory feedback or engagement with an actual person is met I will resort to complaining on every social media platform available and will also lodge a formal complaint with ICASA.
