Vodacom terrible customer service.
I went into the Vodacom Store for an upgrade, did all the paper work and explained to the sales agent that i will need a phone today and i asked if that was possible. to this he said yes and handed me the phone. the phone wasn't turned on in the store, in stead i was given the box, shook his hand and escorted out the store. lovely service i thought, until i opened the phone box and tried to start the phone up, it wouldn't start and so i immediately took the phone back.
this is the catch, we sign an agreement saying if there is a problem with the phone in first 7 days, they will swap it out for you. i hadn't even had the phone for 2 hours and i didn't get a swap out. Even though they know i had just got the phone and half the staff in the store say its a faulty phone. so here i am, paying customer who had just upgraded, i have the most valuable contract with vodacom business but i don't get looked after at all. they don't offer a swap out on the phone, they offer to take the phone indefinitely until they can figure out where the issue is. crazy because with any store anywhere if you walk out the store and come back minutes later with your receipt you are assisted. Well not with Vodacom i'll tell you that much. you can pay R2800 every month plus data, go in and get an upgrade just so you can end up with no phone and nobody who cares to go out of their way to assist you.
if the CEO of VODACOM knew how his "managers" deal with challenges and how they talk to customers maybe things would be different.. or maybe the same, if anyone in that company cared they would learn to start putting customers first. they're the reason you have a business anyways!!!!!
