Vodacom telemarketing sales are risky!

Do not do telephone deals with Vodacom, unless you have enough time, energy, and patience. 1. Vodacom failed to send me an email to confirm the terms of the oral (verbal) contract - how do I know that the sales lady spoke the truth about the benefits end services? 2. Vodacom failed to load the sale/contract on to my Vodacom account after 5 days - there is no reference of that on my profile. I have absolutely NO RECORD of this new contract. 3. Vodacom's assistance to activate the SIM took about 3 hours of my time to their call centre (greeted by "high call volumes, call back later") and 5 days later it is not yet activated. 4. Vodacom's website does not even cater for the device they sold - how can they sell a device and not have it on their website to assist to activate it? 5. The device's instructions are not valid to activate, the website does not exist! They do not have a clue about efficient and effective business processes and put a client in a vulnerable position.

I have been a Vodacom customer for more than 20 years with at least 5 - 8 contracts, but it is time to move on.

This generic response does not warrant any comments.
Once you secure a deal, you disappear from the horison, treating your customers like dirt.
