Vodacom taking insurance monies for insurance I did not request!!!
I was incorrectly debited for an insurance that was automatically loaded onto my Vodacom contract on 26 October, when I noticed the difference in my monthly installments I immediately called Vodacom. They advised that insurance has been taken out on my account for an i-phoneX which I did not request at all. They then advised I needed to call ***. I then did so cancelled the insurance and was advised that the monies will be refunded within 21 working days. I then called 24 working days later (27 November) to advise that I still did not receive my monies, they sent me from pillar to post with multiple agents assuring me credit control will log the request and a supervisor was going to call me back, who never did. I then called again on 10 December and finally spoke to a supervisor after waiting for 45 minutes for him to take the call, Thuto Mashigo escalated the query to credit control and advised that they had a back log. He sent me an email confirming my query is logged and advised that as soon as he got word from credit he would email me. I sent and email last week and guess what credit still did not send any feedback and I am still waiting on my monies to be paid back to me!
I will be waiting for that consultant to come back with solutions instead of problems and empty promises as I have been getting.
Regards
Megan
