Vodacom taking forever to do a simple activation of Frogfoot FTTH
I app**** for fibre on the 2nd of December 2021, on the 21st of December my order was cancelled/deleted by Vodacom, stating that there is no fibre in my area. What doesn't make sense is, there is fibre in my area, in my unit, there is an ONT that flicks internet when plugged in.
Frogfoot told me the reason why they cancelled on their end is because Vodacom did not send them my proof of address that they needed from them, but vodacom told me they cancelled because there is no line.
I decided to re-apply on the 10th of January 2022. Vodacom sent another router today, but when setup, it's still not connecting the internet. I called both frogfoot and Vodacom. Frogfoot is telling me they are waiting for proof of address from Vodacom that they have requested and Vodacom still hasn't sent it to them.
They keep on telling me they are escalating and I have to wait for 24hrs for the issue to be attended.
Have I not wait long enough? Since the 2nd of December 2021, no installation needed, just them providing documentation to frogfoot and frogfoot turning my line on. How hard is that?
Bare in mind, no one from Vodacom was giving me any update of any sort, I had to use my own airtime to follow up, I have probably spent over 5 hours altogether on calls with vodacom.
