Vodacom takes its clients for granted
Again I come back complaining about the bad service rendered by Vodacom. They almost want to make a shamble of service seem acceptable.
I had lost my phone which I requested to be blocked immediately and that was done. I later recovered and completed forms for this phone to be unblacklisted. This took a while and I could not use the phone as it was blocked even after the forms were submitted. I waited 48 hours and the phone was unblocked and operational. Of which this was done after much struggles.
Unfortunately when I found my phone it had a cracked and chipped screen. On Tuesday I went to Cresta Vodashop to book my phone in for repairs and the consultant there told me that according to his system the phone is still blacklisted on the network. He sent an email to Vodacom Head Office and told me it will take 48 hours before they respond and that he does not know how to contact them but only through email. Today I called to check the status and he tells me what he told me on Tuesday which does not assist me as I am using a damaged phone.
I pay a lot of money monthly to be receiving a service like this every other month from Vodacom. Now my cellphone can not be booked in for repairs and the insurance will indicate that the line is locked yet on their system it shows that I use this phone on a daily basis.
