Vodacom takes advantage of pensioner

I am utterly appalled by the abysmal service provided by Vodacom. Two years ago, we canceled my mother's Vodacom account to migrate to Telkom, only to discover that she has been continually debited R36 monthly. This is an unjust burden, especially for a pensioner.

Attempting to resolve this issue has been a nightmare. Vodacom's automated system, led by the useless bot Tobi, only exacerbates the frustration. After numerous attempts, I finally reached a human representative, only to be told that they cannot verify the account without an account number – an account that supposedly doesn't exist!

Their solution? Download the app, which proved to be yet another dead end. Vodacom is more than willing to take your money, but when it comes to providing service or rectifying their mistakes, they are utterly ***********.

Save yourself the headache and avoid Vodacom at all costs. Their lack of accountability and disregard for customer satisfaction is disgraceful.

Steer clear of Vodacom if you value your time, money, and sanity.

This is an exercise in futility as Vodacom doesn't want to cancel contracts.

Will she be refunded the money from the debit orders taken off her account?
