Vodacom Tab Repairs

I bought a Vodacom smart tab for my daughter on 28 March 2015 at American Swiss in Parow Centre. About two weeks ago she showed me that the screen was cracked, but she was surprised as the tab did not fall at all. It was still working fine until it started to freeze. I took it to the repair shop in Century City to have it looked at and explained to the consultant. He then gave me the story that I will be quoted for a replacement as they do not repair this specific Vodacom Smart tabs. What bull is this now, I mean this is a Vodacom product. And I mean the phone freezing is probably a software issue. I would probably have understood if he told me that they will not fix the screen but to tell me they will probably quote me for a replacement is bull if you ask me. This is my first Vodacom phone and I feel really disappointed by this.
