vodacom tab 3G

Vodacom has launched vodacom tab 3G. One of the most affordable tablets @ R999. However many people have come mplained about the screen. Once u drop it it breaks. You book it in for repairs at your nearest dealer and within days you are told they can't fix it. Cost of screen and LCD is more expensive to fix than buying a new a tablet. How is it possible if the screen and LCD they had on tab when its new doesn't affect price. You buy it for R999 but it will cost you more than R1000 to fix screen. Why not use same screen and lcd. Can somebody please share light on this for me. I'm not willing to buy another tab that breaks after smallest fall. Yes it fell but my cellphone has fallen countless times & it still works. Now I know I'm not the only one who feels that this is not right or fare.
