Vodacom sucks!
I am so disappointed with Vodacom and honestly cannot believe this was the service received. Yester morning the online agent, Kholeka, really went over and above to find me a suitable deal of R409, she advised that they didn’t have stock of the playstation 5. This was after waiting for a deal match since Thursday! So after the online agent advised that they couldn’t help since they didn’t have stock, I was sent to a Vodacom 4U store in the Eastrand mall. The agent, Sipho did his best to accommodate but I was forced to take a tablet that I didn’t want, at R179 a month, in order to add the playstation to the contract, ending up with a bill of almost R700 over the next 3 years. Plus I had to pat R150 upgrade fee! They also didn’t wave the 2 months left on my existing contract after all the inconvenience they caused. It is rather disappointing that all the Hello Peter agent, Ashley had to say was that he was sorry! Like that solves my problem! I don’t understand why I couldn’t get the online deal instore! Is it my fault they didn’t have stock? I didn’t go to the store on my own, I was referred! Anyway, this was the last business I did with vodacom! I have now actually changed my mind and want to return the playstation to go to MTN. I also didn’t receive the tablet I was forced to sign up for, because there was no stock! Vodacom seems to be in the business of nit putting their customers needs first! Please let me know how I return the playstation and cancel the upgrade!
