15 Aug 2021, 15:51 Sick and tired of Vodacom's level of ineptitude. Shocking!!! For years I've been complaining on this platform about a simcard Vodacom won't delete from my profile. They charged me for it even though I wasn't using it. They'd promise to stop and remove it ftom my profile.
Here I am again. I upgrade my work phone and insist on which number it is. Guess what, they upgrade that number that shouldn't be on my profile. I check on my account last week and realise this and demand they move the agreed terms to my work phone account. They pretend I wasn't clear on the number being discussed. I demand access to the recording they always boast about for everyone's protection but it's not forthcoming.
They insist I must bring back my phone, which now had all the information and old phone has been given away. I told them I will not be without a work phone as that impacts on my ability to conduct business which enables me to pay them.
They are obviously not interested in solving a problem they created in a way that doesn't impact me negatively. I just hot a message they will collect my phone to cancel a contract I didn't ask for, for a number that should no have be3on my profile for years, and then move the contract yo coredct number. That's what their process demands, regardless of its impact on me
I have been with Vodacom since September 2019. Not once have they jot received their payment from me. I've complained on this platform several times about this number they force on me. I never got a refund for the monies they took whilst not using it. I let it slide
They will mot take away my tool for my work. A huge conglomerate like this can't solve a problem they created without taking away my phone? It speaks a lot about managing their inadequacies by punishing people who are not at fault. By now, they should have created processes that are creative to address this mess, as I'm sure this case is NOT the only one
They must give me access to the recordings as per consumer's protection act. Then we can talk.
Or find a creative way of cancelling that contract, move the terms to my number without making a stupid request that hinders me conducting business and wasting time transferring information to another phone. Am not about suffering at this stage. Am tired of Vodacom. I should have moved my business to MTN long ago.
