Vodacom Sucks

Where to begin.... I have NO signal with Vodacom at my latest address and when it came time to 'upgrade' I wanted to leave Vodacom for cell C, who had great signal. Unfortunately I decided to believe Vodacom when they told me, in April 2016, that they would have a new tower up in my area within 6 months, and until its s up, they would pas me a 20% discount on my monthly RED BUSINESS contract. I received NOTHING.

So I have decided to go to pre paid, as I am not using even my 'included minutes or sms', why? because I have no signal. I had to get wifi at R685/m so that I could make and receive calls. If the wifi is down... I am cut off from the cellular world. PS: Vodacom did not even TRY to keep me as a customer.

Now for the kicker: Vodacom suspended my service this morning around 8am... My email to them this morning: I am NOT impressed…. I know the month to end at MIDNIGHT on the 31st…. NOT 8AM!!!!!!! I had 357 minutes that I had was told I had to use before the end of January (midnight 31st???) and I can assure you I did not even come close. I had loads of data and again, did not use it. I also don’t understand WHY I need to FICA AGAIN…. As I am still me, still the same number, still with Vodacom…. Now understand that you cannot make ANY calls... not emergency, customer care, NADA. So how do I contact my service provider, as they instruct on the message???????????

Being a customer of vaodacom for the past 30 years seems not to matter….. wow. I am going to advise ALL my friends and many business associates to Leave vodacom and move to ANY other provider.

Vodacom sucks. They are greedy and the current court case proves it.
