Vodacom subscription apps helping themselves to your airtime!!!

Good Day Hello Peter

Today I decided to call my bank regarding statements Via email for SARS.

My monthly Top up with Vodacom is R110 Airtime and 100MB Data, it topped up today, to my knowledge I made two calls literally 2 min per call.

whilst on a important call to the bank, my airtime just disappeared.

Upon calling Vodacom I spoke to 3 consultants to get any assistance, the first gentleman assured the reason why my airtime was exhausted was subscription Apps, four in fact! How? I never subscribed to any of these! to be exact Opera Telecom DROI6000 takes R5.00pm, Mirror Networks Kulavillecom takes R7.00pm, Empty digits mobile academy takes R10.00pm, and Opera Telecoms Trend me takes R5pm. How is it possible that Vodacom as a service provider allows this to happen to honest people like me, who solemnly pay there account every month and dont have one device on a contract i have 3 with Vodacom. and why has Vodacom never been honest enough to let their loyal customers know, I Never subscribed to any of this **** and as for all the ******* promo smses for business adverti*****t that you allow not one, approx 12 a day, where are these people getting my number from Vodacom?

I requested my airtime to be re-instated of which only R75-00 was as per my "usage" I dont utilise my airtime for data infact i purchase data when needed outside my home, I have home WIFI.

according to the the 3 consultants my airtime was exhausted because of these monthly subscriptions, which for God knows how long they have been allowed to literally ***** R27pm from me without my knowledge, airtime usage and data usage.

Vodacom we South Africans are not dumb, I suggest you get your network in order and sort out these stupid and ******* ****s, before you have the wrong person to deal with. Its unacceptable how fast your data and airtime also disappears.

I would seriously look into this, or perhaps ICASA should.
