Vodacom subscriber collections contact centre
For the last months i have been contacting Vodacom to find out why they don't debit my bank account. I contacted the customer services department on the 27th of September 2017 to change my banking details. I still asked the consultant if everything is in order and the consultant confirmed that the new banking account will be debited from the 1st of October 2017. On the 3rd of October i made another call to follow up on the debit order and I was informed that the next available date for the debit order is on the 11th of October which I then accepted. But shockingly I was then informed that an R100 will be added to my debit amount due to the debit order that was returned. I still asked why as this is not my fault but I accepted it. On the 11th of October my account was still not debited and I called Vodacom collections department from a Vodacom outlet to find out what the problem is. I was then informed that my banking details shows closed that is why my account was not debited and i requested it to be corrected and activated. I was promised at this stage that my account will be debited for the amount. On the 1st of November i was still sitting with the same problem that my account was still not debited and yet the new month's debit was also due. I called Vodacom collections department again. I was so frustrated by then because Vodacom is quick to update your ITC records but not quick enough to correct your ITC records especially when they are at fault. I was have been trying to pay my account and Vodacom was not very helpful. I felt that the people I have been dealing with is *********** and up till today no corrections are made.
