Vodacom stop sending message messages to third parties, you are disturbing peace in people homes, the contract is between two people

2018 Vodacom called me to offer me a deal ,I was told I will be getting 2 phones with monthly data of 5GB and airtime at a very reasonable monthly fee for both , I got excited and took the offer , little did I know that it was a trick . The 1st month data was available and my debit order went through, the 2nd month no data came and the monthly fee increased , I called the call center to inquire and I was sent from one person to the other, 3rd month same thing , I call customer care and I was told it’s not a contract with Vodacom but rather a contract of a promotional company, I then decided to stop the debit order . A month after the debit order was cancelled, I got a call from Vodacom about the payment, I told them I am not going to pay because I was not getting what I was promised, I was told that the 5GB data was a promotion for that monthly only, I then said no that was not what was communicated to me in the start of this deal , therefore I do not want this contract. After that no communication from Vodacom, the phones were blocked and I continued to receive my monthly statements on my email without any monthly fee due. This year 2020 I have been getting messages from people I do not know on my social media accounts telling asking me why did I give Vodacom their numbers because Vodacom is sending them messages of urgent payment needed , I was confused by all this and I asked the lady to forward me that message and apologized because I did register anyone’s number with Vodacom. The message had a call center number, I called that number and I ask them why are people getting messages directed to me about a contract that I had with Vodacom, I was told that Vodacom sent these messages to numbers that were used by that SIM card. I told them that is not acceptable because that Number was not used by me, Vodacom has my email , my contact number and my address, why am I not getting these messages. I asked them to Stop sending these messages to people because people think I registered their contacts with Vodacom. Today I got a call again from a gentleman who was fuming that I must remove his number from the contact list I made with Vodacom, he is fighting with his wife because of this , his wife wants to know why is he getting messages from Vodacom about due payment of another woman. I understand the frustrations of these people because I would be angry too to be constantly getting messages from Vodacom about an account of someone else.What right does Vodacom have to send messages to numbers that were used by that SIM card.
