Vodacom stole my money

I placed an order for a cellphone on 25 May and was promised 24 hour delivery. 2 days later I had no phone and received no communication. Phoned 3 of their helpline numbers and no one could find my order. Order confirmation said I could cancel before delivery was started which I did. Despite numerous calls, emails and a complaint on hellopeter.com it took almost 2 weeks to confirm the cancellation. No one took any interest in my complaint and there was no effort to rescue the sale. All I got was promises that my query had been escalated - at no point did anybody take ownership of my problem,<br> <br> After all this and confirmation from Sindisiwe Sithole that the sales had been cancelled, they still took the money from my credit card!!<br> <br> Shocking service and a don't care attitude from a company I have been a loyal subscriber to for almost 20 years!
