Vodacom still PUSHING their wares. Third Complaint.

This is the third time that I am submitting a complaint via hellopeter

14 August 2019, 17:26 I once again received a PUSH notifcation from Vodacom: "You have less than 11MB. Get 100MB data to use today at R10 with your airtime?" I have taken a screenshot of the notification.

Vodacom, you are in contravention of Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (no 25 of 2002) Section 45(4): Any person who sends unsolicited commercial communications to a person who has advised the sender that such communications are unwelcome, is guilty of an offence and liable, on conviction, to the penalties prescribed in section 89(1). The current penalty is a fine not exceeding R200'000.00.

The screenshot serves as evidence of the fact that this matter has not been resolved, even after two complaints. The complaint below serves as evidence that I have formally communicated with Vodacom that PUSH notifications from Vodacom are unwelcome.

The previous solution was to dial *124# and choose option 4. There is no option 4.

Is this problem going to be cealt with to my satisfaction or am I going to be forced to institute a case against Vodacom at the Linden Police Station? Vodecaom, you are breaking the law.

17 July 2019, 12:36 I received yet another PUSH notification from Vodacom. "You have less than ***MB on (my number). Get 100MB data to use today at R10 (Offer available until 23:59) 1)Buy 2)Cancel 3)Activate Usage Notification. In my previous complaint (21 Jun 2019, 08:54) I stated: Vodacom, you are required by law to allow me to choose which methods of communication you may use to contact me. Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (no 25 of 2002) Section 45(4): Any person who sends unsolicited commercial communications to a person who has advised the sender that such communications are unwelcome, is guilty of an offence and liable, on conviction, to the penalties prescribed in section 89(1). Fix this problem. Now. If not, I will take this matter further. I will not be forced to accept PUSH notifications against my will.
