Vodacom *****s money.

I noticed that my accumulated credit was wiped out on 31 January 2019. I phoned the Call Center and was told that Vodacom had changed its policy that accumulated funds would be forfeited. This change of policy has never been communicated to me and do they have to stoop this low to ***** money from customers? The agent who I spoke says he will request the back office to refund me and that it would take 24 to 72 hours to take effect. He said that I was not the first customer and possibly not the last to complain and find this practice and policy unacceptable. He also said that this would happen every month going forward. Does Vodacom subscribe to "Treat your customers fairly" policy? I am a pensioner and accumulate the monies for emergencies and cannot accept that Vodacom just make a sweeping policy decision to ***** monies and call it a "forfeit". Are they now desperately looking for ways to take back monies paid by customers to settle a debt to someone who worked for them before and developed the "Free Call Me facility"? A decent alternative for a business who should not have to ***** money would be to offset the monies accumulated by stopping the monthly debit order until an equal amount had been achieved to equal to that of their accumulated maximum which is just an unacceptable policy. I wonder if the public are now aware of the devious and ******* changes that are happening with this service provider.

Over 48 hours and still no contact as the "Official Business Reply" makes reference to. Is this another instruction that the geniuses who keep on making Customer Unfriendly and bad decisions and have their staff act accordingly. Promise and then do not deliver. Sorry Vodacom I will not be going away.
