Vodacom *****s mins & data when you cancel

We gave vodacom more than a month notice to cancel my daughters 120 minute + 1 gig data contract at the end Feb.. Vodacom took the payment for the contract on 1st Feb and all continued until today 13 Feb when they just zeroed all her minutes and data (about 1,9 gig and 200 mins) Daughter has been abroad and in a no signal area for last 2 months so almost all of jan + feb not used. 41 minute phonecall to vodacom achieved no answer and no result. Daughter was driving to E Cape from CT today and she could not communicate to even tell us she had arrived safely. Vodacom says they will launch an investigation which can take 48 hours (prob 10 days from the comments on this site) This is pure and simple theft and big company payback for cancelling. Big brother *****s over the little guy. Disgusting.

Reviewer Update

Vodacom, your poor and ridiculous service continues. It is now more than 48 hours. Cedric, the supervisors supervisor did not call back. Zukele who promised to call back by midday has not called back and it is now 14h45. Vodacom is probably the biggest tech company in SA and you cant see that you were paid as normal and have removed (Read ******) about 200 minutes of airtime from our contract just because we gave you notice that we were cancelling our contract. Wake up now and give us what we have paid for. Vodacom is lying if they say that they cant track the minutes that have and have not been used. So give them back now.
