Vodacom *****S DATA with their system

I am NOT very happy with how Vodacom applies the usage of data on my contract. It is not consistent. I have 470MB of data which expires on 4 August 2018 and I had another 250MB of data which expires on 30 September 2018, which I received as part of my monthly contract allocation. For the first 2 days of the month, Vodacom app**** the data usage from the 470MB, which I deem to be the correct way (FIFO way). From the 3rd of the month, Vodacom started applying data usage from the new data of 250MB. This results in either me forfeiting the use of the 470MB or using the 250MB first in order to use the 470MB.

I DO NOT THINK THAT VODACOM APPLIES THE LIFO - last in first out - in their stock system. I do not think that that I am the only customer treated in this manner.

I must say that this is very disappointing

The business did not respond. It was an automated response. That does not count as a response.

The business responded by giving me 500MB of data . Even though I appreciate the gesture, the fact that they did not acknowledged the problem with their methodology means this can happen again. This is the 2nd month in a row that I am experiencing a problem where my data disappears. Not sure to how many other people this happens.
