Vodacom *****s, and *****s - *****S!!!
Vodacom automatically subscribed me to video play (micro power pack 30 day), now it's taking data at a rate of 5-10MB per hour without me doing anything. And this at the start of the coronavirus lockdown. About a month ago Vodacom kept taking my data at a rate of 50MB per 4 hours, and again without me doing anything. I eventually had to visit 3 different stores and techies. Eventually I forced them to log an itemized billing request, they gave me a reference nr, but I never received the itemized billing statement. As a "goodwill" gesture they sent me 3Gig, but refused to send the statement. This tells me that they're *****ing (as the statement surely would show) and it's not the first time it's happened to me - data simply disappearing whilst I keep track over an 18 hour period. I'm so sick of Vodacom, they get away with theft and they know it. And now the same is happening all over again - 5-10MB simply disappearing for no reason, and by the hour. I have no subscription services whatsoever. I never agreed to load video play. Never used it, have no use for it. Why is Vodacom again *****ing my data? And at the start of the countrywide coronavirus lockdown. It's now exactly 23H59 Thursday 26/03/2020. People, watch this service provider ! - they are ******!!!! And there is no one to speak to at the call centre, just the stupid 'bot'. They choose their times sooo well!

Hi there, please help, last time I had to take a day off from work to sort the issue I had with Vodacom (that was about 30 days ago). To this day, no one could tell me why back then my data just disappeared at such an alarming rate. Prior to this there were several other times the same happened. This time we're into the first hour of the coronavirus lockdown, and I don't plan to spend my early morning keeping track of my vodac data simply disappearing without any reason whatsoever, except maybe because they automatically subscribed me to Video Play. The sms read: "Welcome to Video Play. Micro Power Pack 30 days is now active on your account. Start watching now https://video-playvodacom.co.za/#!/home". All I did was accept a 30-day WhatsApp data bundle at a reduced rate. I never 'subscribed' to 5-10 MB of data being taken from me by the hour! And without me doing anything!!! Already my business is dead because of the virus & lockdown. I work from home and I'm frugal with my Rs. I simply cannot let Vodacom ***** from me again. I cannot afford it! Last time (after I first visited three different Vodac stores - one in Randridge Mall; two in Clearwater, and after i spoke to different techies, but to no resolve) I threatened them directly over the phone, accusing them of theft, mentioning that I've been keeping written track over the past 18 hours, by the 5-minute margin, jotting down how much data disappears, and calculating that it's happening at a rate of at least 50MB per every 4 hours, at times even more. I threatened them with going the legal route; and insisted on an itemized billing statement, to which they eventually reluctantly agreed. They subsequently sent me a ticket number. But no, they wouldn't dare send that statement. Instead I got a "goodwill gesture" of 3 Gig. I didn't want this; I wanted justice. I wanted (as I want now) for Vodacom to stop *****ing my data for no reason. I have no subscription services. I don't stream! I only use WhatsApp, occasionally, and do the odd IOL or News24 search, or translate the odd word from Afrikaans to English on the Majstro website. But whilst my data disappeared, each time I made sure to not be active with searches or on Whatsapp. To simply sit and watch, and take notes. Can Hellopeter please assist. I've had it with Vodacom, and now during this corona crises I need to be able to WhatsApp my mom, dad, aunt and uncle - they are all elderly and at high Covid risk. But I cannot keep buying Vodac data, to just have it vanish as I sit and watch. Please help, I have no faith in Vodacom and I don't want to deal with them again. It's soul-****ing and time consuming. They are ****!!! They've become so clever about how they go about *****ing one's data. They catch you unawares, when you don't expect it. How many people don't pick up on this?? Vodacom gets away with ******, and it's still going to come out. But then it's too late; their coffers had been filled, the money's gone.
