Vodacom *****s!!!

vodacom *****s!!!

I have been a loyal Vodacom customer for more than 20 years and for some months my account has been more than R 10 000 p.m.

The company that employs me has a monthly Vodacom bill of more than R 250 000.00 which we now consider cancelling.

Last year October I switched my personal as well as my wife's cell phone accounts from vodacom to Cell C due to horrible services, being to expensive and terrible cell-phone reception. I performed a Sim swap from vodacom to Cell C to keep my number, and between myself and my wife I paid Vodacom more than R 10 000 to buy out my contract. Which I did with the greatest pleasure just to get rid of vodacom.

However during the same time I cancelled and bought out my vodacom accounts, Vodacom **********ly opened another 3 accounts in my name. Since October last year to date Vodacom has debited my bank account with more than R 7 000.00. I have being to numerous Vodashops, I have made hundreds of phone calls and send I don't know how many emails to CEO at Vodacom regarding the matter.

Every single person from Vodacom refused to assist me and accused me of opening the accounts myself which I never did.

I want to advise everyone to stay as far away from Vodacom as humanly possible.

P.S. the reason we consider cancelling the company's Vodacom account is because one of my colleagues' accounts was **********ly charged with R 15 000.00 data usage in a single month. We were also offered the same deal from a different service provider for almost half the price.

Below follows response from vodacom. I WISH TO HIGHLITE IT IS AN ABSOLUTE LIE, I HAVE NOT RECEIVED A SINGLE CENT FROM ALL MONEY **********Y DEBITTED FROM MY BANK ACCOUNT!!!

Good day

On behalf of Vodacom, kindly accept our sincere apology for the manner in which your enquiry was dealt with and for any inconvenience caused.

This is certainly not in line with Vodacom's aim in achieving service excellence. Our records reflect that the matter has since been resolved.

Thank you for the time and effort taken to voice your dissatisfaction to our office. It is with the cooperation and feedback from valued clients such as yourself that we are able to identify any possible improvement areas in our organisation.

You may email us on ********** or contact us on 082111 (free from a Vodacom sim) should you have any enquiries. You may also review your posting.

Regards

Lesley Abels
Vodacom Consumer Website Team

However after one mr Lesley Abels agreed as per communication above to settle matters Vodacom still refuse to settle my account and the money **********ly debitted from my bank account. The worst part is they acknowledge that vodacom never cancelled the contracts as I requested. Also they invoiced and charged me which I paid, and Vodacom never cancelled the contracts. However vodacom continued billing and debitting my bank account and now refuses to refund me as per mail below.

Good day

We do not intend responding to the various allegations made by you in regard to the merits of this matter, suffice to record that some of those allegations are inaccurate. Our failure therefore to respond should not be construed as admission to any of the allegations.

We will address other allegations on the appropriate forum should the need arise.

Our rights remains reserved.

As per MNP (mobile number portability) rules and regulations , two service providers may not have the same number on their network simultaneously. You may port your number at any point in time, but this does not relieve you from your contractual obligations with your service provider. In the event the number is still in contract Vodacom will assign a pseudo/dummy number to continue with the contractual agreement.

We can confirm that only 1 of the 3 numbers were cancelled on 21/10/2016. At this point in time we can only confirm that it was not done. In terms of the reasons why, we can only assume it was an oversight//error//documents not received, etc.

Pseudo numbers were allocated to your account and the billing proceeded as per normal.

In light of the above the account was reviewed, consolidated ? the matter has since been remedied and the following can be confirmed:

Unpaid Invoices - R 4494.36
03/10/2016 INV B ********** 97 ********** 97 R1446.20
03/10/2016 INV B ********** 98 ********** 52 R2939.16
03/10/2016 INV B ********** 99 ********** 59 R 109.00

Extract from the cancellation quotation terms and conditions:

?I agree:
- That I will be liable for any calls , service related charges and/or unpaid invoices that are not included in this quotation.
- That these charges may be billed to my account.?

Refund claim request ? Refund R4241.90
03/01/2017 R 1 553,60
01/02/2017 R 1 553,70
01/03/2017 R 1 134,60
03/04/2017 R 1 134,60 ? Debit order unpaid

In summary:

Based on the above mentioned, no refund is due on your account.
Pseudo numbers were allocated, because the numbers were not cancelled, and the practice is not *******.
- Based on above the ***** was not confirmed.

Regards

Lesley Abels
Vodacom Consumer Website Team

Mail Attachment
This e-mail is classified C2 - Vodacom Restricted - Information to be used inside Vodacom but it may be shared with authorised partners.
This e-mail is sent on the Terms and Conditions that can be accessed by Clicking on this link https://webmail.vodacom.co.za/tc/default.html "
