Vodacom *****ing Money

I'm posting here because phoning vodacom's customer care for a solution is like hopingto win the lottery one day... without buying a ticket.

I got a suprise entry on my statement for the month of June for a subscription service. I was billed for about R172. for the month of July I got billed again for R194. When I phoned vodacom they saw that I was subscribed to a daily subsciption service of R7/day. I never subscribe to a service like this! So for me this equaled the same as *****ing money from someone as I never approved for a subscription service.

The Vodacom telephone operator just shurgged their shoulders as they couldn't answer me why it happend and only said that i might have clicked on something to subscribe me. This is **** to be frank. Even if i did click on something there is suppose to be a approval method for me to confirm that I wanted the subscription service. This is not just happening to me but a lot of people.

I logged a call to have my money refunded from WASPA but has of yet not heard anything back. I feel vodacom is responsible as they are suppose to protect their clients from services like this. Cause as I say I've never approved a service liek this. I only found out about this service after I got my bill. So they billed me R7/day for 2 months without my approval.

I just feel Vodacom is suppose to step up to the plate. I need my refund as I bet you that the newspaper would appreciate a story like this as vodacom is letting 3rd party companies feed off of their client base.

I've heard no feedback from Vodacom which is pretty poor on their behalf.

Yes I did, but I'm not at all satisfied with the rep**** message. Basically you tell me that after my incident as solution has been implemented to protect your clients from subscribtion services. I get the message that this is now my problem , Vodacom through a whoel bunch of law jargen into my face stating that they can only wash their hands and think that they can walk away from this and I need to carry the costs.

i will take this further. Good day and no thanks for an utter useless service taht was provided. As my core problem was to get refunded of my money as this has not been resovled. So I had to pay for Vodacom's mistake.
