Vodacom *****ing me blind

Why your cell phone gets charges deducted that you don't have a clue about. Vodacom, MTN & Cell C are cosily in bed with WASPS (Wireless Application Services) which, without your authorization, charge you for some or other obscure service. They accept these charges and add them to your account. On a stop order, it reads "calls-data services". On pay-as-you-go, you have no idea why your money disappears. These WASPS live like kings off pre-paid customers. Many of them are former employees of these service providers. If you sms STOP ALL to 31050 Vodacom will have to cancel the WASP. (See update below for CellC and MTN). I did it and received an sms that read "You have been unsubscribed from Entertainment Content service with effect from 2017-10-05." Huh??? SHARE as widely as possible. These mf's are *****ing us blind! Update: Cell C Using the USSD string *133*1# subscribers can block all existing and future content billing. MTN also offers a USSD string (*141*5#) to manage premium content subscriptions, but unlike Cell C’s it doesn’t block all future subscriptions. Instead, users select which services to unsubscribe from. These MF's stole over R4000 from me this year. Phoning Vodacom results in sweet talk and nothing happens. I never subscribed to anything. I am an IT business owner. I know what I do all the time. I never received a confirmation email or sms to state that I have subscribed to some service or another. I cant help but think that someone is leaking info from Vodacom that then bill your account and ***** the money from your bank via debit order. If it happens to you, you will complain and phone your phone provider. They will sweet talk you and tel you to contact Wasps. Ag please. You spend so much time on the line with them that you feel is it all worth the effort. This is what they count on I am sure and the thievery and *******ion continues. I dont know how this can be allowed and there is no way to block this from happening again in the future. In my view this is contract breach and it leaves a horrible taste. I have sent this info to Carte Blanche. Hopefully they will investigate this and stop this stupid ridiculous services.
