Vodacom *****ing from customers
I app**** for a new cellphone contract at Vodacom a the beginning of August. I was told that a handset will be delivered to me within few days. However, it was never delivered. I made a follow up and I was told that RAM couriers returned back to them. However, I could apply for a new cellphone contract after 3 months. I wrote a review on Hellopeter. One of the consultants phoned me apologizing about the inconvenience caused and promised that she will forward my details to sales department to contact me regarding a new cellphone contract. Indeed someone from sales department phoned me and I took a cellphone contract for R99. I was shocked when R207 was debited from my account last Saturday. When I enquired I was told that I app**** for a contract online. I never app**** for a contract online. When I took the contract I was told that I was only going to pay R99 monthly. Even the delivery note supports this. It should be noted that this is not the first time Vodacom stole money from my bank account. In October 2016 I signed a new cellphone contract. As usual, I was told that I was not going to pay anything other than monthly subscription. To my surprise about R850 was debited from account. Please stop *****ing from customers to meet your profit targets.
