Vodacom *****ing again from customers!!!
WHY WAS MONEY ****** FROM MY WIFE'S ACCOUNT AFTER MOVING TO PREPAID??!!! Why are you guys *****ing again from us as we cancelled the contract and moved to prepaid as the contract expired on the 21ste of November 2019? We were told by Simphiwe from the Vodacom cancellations department that there will be no more debit order payments as the number was moved to prepaid and is currently like that but we had to pay again and due to cancelling the debit order we where changed an additional R100 for this payment not made as Vodacom **** to us about this and we were also told that we do not have to give a 30 days notice at all.
Also, we have not been informed as to why data and airtime has not been provided to my Wife's phone for the month of November 2019 as you were quick to take the money for it and extremely poor service was given even when we called in 3 to 4 weeks ago. My wife has been a customer for 14 years and this is how you have treated her!!! This is ********** and unacceptable!!! This is why I moved to MTN which has better network and service delivery over Vodacom and due to this poor service from Vodacom we will never recommend you to anyone else and we will be moving my Wife's number to MTN.
I want this matter resolved immediately and will not stand to wait a month again for a matter like this to be resolved!!! You are not adhering to the consumer act of 24 April 2009 which is as follow to refresh your memory:" To promote a fair, accessible and sustainable marketplace for consumer products and services and for that purpose to establish national norms and standards relating to consumer protection, to provide for improved standards of consumer information, to prohibit certain unfair marketing and business practices, to promote responsible consumer behaviour, to promote a consistent legislative and enforcement framework relating to consumer transactions and agreements, to establish the National Consumer Commission, to repeal sections 2 to 13 and sections 16 to 17 of the Merchandise Marks Act, 1941 (Act No. 17 of 1941), the Business Names Act, 1960 (Act No. 27 of 1960), the Price Control Act, 1964 (Act No. 25 of 1964), the Sales and Service Matters Act, 1964 (Act No. 25 of 1964), the Trade Practices Act, 1976 (Act No. 76 of 1976), the Consumer Affairs (Unfair Business Practices) Act, 1988 (Act No. 71 of 1988), and to make consequential amendments to various other Acts; and to provide for related incidental matters."
If this matter is not resolved urgently then further steps will be taken especially when it comes to theft charges. Also, the wrong information was sent to us that we requested from Simphiwe and the other gentman we spoke to.
