Vodacom stalling tactics to ensure your warranty lapses

Vodacom stalls clients till there phone is no longer under warranty

Warning to anyone , dropping your phone off at a Vodacom store while it is still under warranty is no guarantee they will honour it. In their minds the day you drop off a phone at Vodacom , has nothing to do with the day their service department eventually looks at

I sent phone in for repairs at no stage where we told that find my iPhone needed to be switched off, there technician phoned next day to instruct me how to do it, I was unavailable and when I repeatedly tried to get hold of him he was either unavailable or on leave .

They stall a person till the phone is no longer under warranty . Who has ever heard of that when you drop phone off at a company under warranty , that they come back to one 2 weeks later and tell you yes it was under warranty , but because of there stalling tactics and while being in the possession of the phone the whole time, allow warranty to lapse and say its not there fault.

This is their sad feedback

Please also note that when the handset was booked in it was initially under warranty, but due to the Find My iPhone still being active and us not being able to get a hold of the customer through various attempts, the phone was sent back to us. The second booking took place after the warranty had expired which has lead to the quote being issued.
