Vodacom Staff leaves much to be desired??

My contract had expired 3-4 months ago however I was not sure at that point whether I wanted to renew or cancel until I was certain. Then on Friday the 7th of June24 was ****** and my mobile was taken. At this point I had no choice but to renew the contract as I did not have insurance. I then walked into Vodacom the Glen (very unhelpful) on the 9th of July24. I wasn't totally satisfied with the quotation that I was given. I then opted to call the Customer Care Centre on the 11th of July24.I was then assisted by an agent who placed the order based on my selection. I was told that the confirmations dep would call me in about 24 hours. By the week of the 15th of July24 I still hadn't received the call and I then called Vodacom back to enquire. While speaking to the agent about my contract I discover that the incorrect Accessory was added to my order. By this time, it was probably my 7th-10th call on the 18th of July24 with no satisfactory outcome. Eventually on the 18th of July24 the agent sends an email to cancellations and once again I was told to wait for the cancellation confirmation before a new order could be placed. On the 19th of July24 I call Vodacom after receiving the confirmation. After about 3,4,5... calls later I get to speak to the Online Department to resubmit my order. The agent confirms all and advises me to hold on as she verifies something with her manager after about 5 to 6 minutes of waiting, she comes back on the line without a pause tells me that due to NO confirmation from me regarding this new contract she is terminating the call, and I can call them back and drops the call on me. This was all rattled off in a couple of seconds. I was utterly and truly astounded and shocked. I guess the effort of what needed to happen next was too much for her. This is the worst experience and service I have ever been exposed too. and the caliber of agents hired speaks for itself. To date I have not received any feedback from Vodacom.
