Vodacom Staff are ********
Good afternoon all. Just like any responsible citizen would do today, I vowed to pay all my debts and keep my credit scores as credible as i could. Unfortunately with *******, mismanaged, *********** staff live VODACOM staff out there, it gets impossible to do such. I have had a cellphone contract with Vodacom since June/July 2016.
When my contract ended, in 2018, i walked into a Vodashop at the Greenstone Mall to cancel my contract account and switch to a prepaid account. Unfortunately i received the same attitude as all other people, that contracts cannot be cancelled on site, and instead they gave me a call centre number to call and make a cancellation.
My call was received by a ******* from vodacom, who then pledged that he was going to assist me. He then send me a four digit pin, and asked me to read it out to him. He then instructed me to switch-off my phone and restart it. I immediately got an email on my work email, thanking me for opting to upgrade.
The details on the accounts belonged to someone in Durban, (I have never lived in Durban) and i immediately called Vodacom to report the matter. I spend hours on the phone that day being passed around from one call centre agent to the other. No one was able to trace or even reverse the transaction. I wanted to know if they were going to be able to trace my call, but no one was willing to assist with that. instead they told me it was possible to reverse such transaction.
Months later i receiver a message that, i owed over R240 000,00 in airtime and data transactions to Vodacom. I denied having an account with Vodacom, but they kept insisting in me accepting that I owed them money, threatening to have me blacklisted.
About a month ago I started shopping for a house, and I finally found something suitable and affordable. When I app**** for a bond I got a message that I have been blacklisted by Vodacom. Apparently i owe Vodacom, R5000 in services and my address is now in Springs, and I have never lived in Springs.
I now find myself in a situation I have been trying to avoid all my life. Vodacom employees are ******** who have been ******** people I knew over the years. The reason I trusted them then was that, I was told that "our calls are being recorded, and you can ask for a recording whenever you like". When I phoned Vodacom to request for a recording, cause they were refusing to assist me with finding and cancelling the transaction, they made me hold for longer than 15 minutes, just to drop my call without saying a word to me. They kept doing it repeatedly to me until i gave up on it. They did that for days until i finally decided to let it go.
In December 2019 the same thing happened to my brother, that he received a call from Vodacom instructing him to switch-off his cellphone for 20 minutes and restart it. I immediately told him to switch it on, and we started receiving a multiples of calls from different numbers, and when i answered his phone, i got told that they were not talking to me. I immediately tried to call Vodacom to ask that they be investigated, and no one at Vodacom bothered to assist with that.
What i know is Vodacom staff are *******, ******** ******* that are sucking on the blood of innocent South Africans, that are trying to make an honest living. My experience with Vodacom staff has taught me that, they are aware of then ******** operations, and they will do all they could to protect each other. My appeal to anyone reading this message, kindly take note of those vultures, and avoid telephonic transactions with them.
I don't see myself or any member of my family, being kids or wife, getting a contract at Vodacom in forever. They are cold blooded, conniving, cunning ********, who wont hesitate to use their afforded platform to **** you. Especially that, they are good at protecting each other, in ensuring that you never get a trace of what happens to you.
Be careful guys.
