Vodacom - SPAM

I was contacted by a sales team regarding the availability of installing Fibre at my current place of residence. I then schedule a date and initiated this request with a sales consultant. Since then I have receive 2 sms's daily to remind me to schedule an installation date.

Shortly thereafter I logged the request to continue without a installation date as I would first need to arrange that my other services are stopped in time to not pay double.

This failed miserably, as I still receive multiple notifications daily about scheduling an appointment. I then continued to log a request to cancel my service order with reason to STOP SPAMMING ME EVERY DAY. This was logged last week. I spoke with a consultant this morning who advised that cancellations will only happen after 2 work weeks have past.

So.... This means I am spammed out of my mind by Vodacom for a service where the sales order never progressed past the initial discussion? How badly is actually consumers then spammed??

I find it absurd that I have to wait another 2 weeks to stop receiving daily sms's for a service that is not active and I am not interested in anymore. Based on the spam tactics app**** I am not interested in engaging Vodacom for a fibre solution.

Please resolve soonest
