Vodacom – South Africa’s leading cellular network??? That’s the funniest thing I have read since I saw Jacob Zuma was meant to go to jail!

Vodacom – Further together??? – That’s a joke, going nowhere!! Vodacom – Power to you??? Clearly you have the power but the lights are off!!!! Vodacom – The future is exciting??? No its not, what future, you cannot complete a simple request! Vodacom – South Africa’s leading cellular network??? That’s the funniest thing I have read since I saw Jacob Zuma was meant to go to jail!

I have a Vodacom pre-paid account, this has been on pre-paid since 1st April 2021. Previously I had a contract that was due for renewal, I was unsure of what I wanted to do so opted for a pre-paid until I was ready to make a decision. On Wednesday 30th June I went to my Vodacom store and spoke to a consultant on opening a new contract on my current number and explained the whole story to said person. When they logged onto the system it showed that my account was a pre-legal due to outstanding monies owed to Vodacom? What utter nonsense I owe you nothing, not a single cent! Consultant at the store checked on the system and confirmed that this was indeed an error and that a call would be logged to get this resolved. On Saturday 3rd July I went back to the store, consultant checked the system and still it says pre-legal and hasn’t changed to settled! This was around 11:27 in the morning. Consultant then called accounts department again and I was informed that it would take 1 to 4 hours to change the status on the system, cool no problem, things happen. Sunday 4th July, I went back to the store and guess what, same ******* excuse as before, still sitting at pre-legal and hasn’t been changed to settled!

What is going on, do you not want my money? Is Vodacom so *********** that they cannot make a small change? I do not conceive the mind of a company who doesn’t care about their clients or new potential clients!
