Vodacom Solutions Dept without solutions

About a month ago I got a call from a Vodacom approved dealer to upgrade to a Samsung Galaxy S8. Part of the package would be a free 12 month Showmax subscription.

I did not receive anything in this regard when my phone came, but thought I would give it a couple of days. After not receiving anything, I phoned Vodacom Customer Care (111) and was transferred to the Solutions Dept. I was promised that the problem would be resolved in 48 hours. It has now been 3 week and nothing has been resolved. I have phoned numerous times again, only to be told that it has been "escalated" and I will get feedback shortly.

Today I phoned again and after talking to 3 different consultants, I was given the number of the head office which turned out to be Afrizon Telecomunications. I tried phoning 4 times, but get cut off every time I am transferred to the "correct" department.

I believe I have a contract with Vodacom - not Afrizon - and Vodacom should sort this out.

I do suspect that I have legal grounds to cancel my contract as Vodacom is in breach.
