Vodacom shocking way of dealing with existing loyal client of 15 years

Vodacom.... I have given you too many chances. As communicated with your CEO's office I have no choice but to let the public know just how you treat you existing loyal customers.

After 15 years of being a loyal customer with numerous cell contracts as well as being a vodacom platinum customer i needed to apply for a new line with a new device.

I did this application directly with the vodacom sales team. The deal was done with old details as the consultant did not request any information and it was rejected. I then sent a formal email to vodacom stating what had changed. The deal was then re credit vetted and approved by the vetting team. I was sent emails as well as sms to confirm the approval of the deal.

A few days past and I followed up to be told me device was on the way and on route to my residence. A few more days past and the story changed. Every day for the last month I have followed up with the sales team as well as directors or Vodacom who have not even had the decency to return a call or send a reply to my emails. Excuse after excuse from the sales team, always promising a call back from management and to this day not one call back. I have spent over an hour a day for the 20 days on the phone with vodacom using my own airtime at my own cost. Not only have you wasted my time but have caused a massive loss in revenue for my business. The story was it was approved on the old system and not on the new system. To be quite honest I don't really care what system it was approved on. I don't work behind the scenes and have no idea what the difference is between the two. The incompetence of your staff is appalling. Still time this date i have received no correspondence from anyone. Now I get that as an individual spending over R 50 000 per annum with Vodacom im a small fish. But to me that is a huge amount of cash. I have emailed the directors of vodacom who did not even have the decency of replying, instead a got a lousy email stating that the sales team will be in contact. I'm still waiting !!! I'm devastated and appaled to say the least. You refuse to release the voice recording to me as you know that you and your team are in the wrong and fail to wrong the right that your consultant made on my account. I however have my own recording that were taken just yo show you how wrong you are and that you will be held liable for not only the inconvenience caused but for the loss in revenue to me and my business.

Not all South Africans are slouches when it comes to these matters. I have email proof and well as voice correspondence of all of these matters.

I will posting all of the recordings as well as all the emails correspondence to social media that I have regarding this situation. I I have informed my attorney of the situation and they will gladly assist in getting this resolved if no agreement is met.

Now can someone please call me now this morning and get this resolved or I have no option to move forward. Your own staff have admitted on audio recording that this was a mistake on vodacom side as well as said they would also be "****ed" off if they were treated like this.

Shocking, poor, pathetic, *********** to say the least.

Please dont make me post the names of the people involved in this incident.

I look forward to hearing from you
