VODACOM SHOCKING SERVICE
I live in Fraserburg, Northern Cape. The whole town has been without network coverage since 30 December 2021. I am paying for a service I do not have. I work from home and use my phone for work. Call made to customer care on 3/1/22. They can't even see on their system that there is no coverage in my area. Surely they have monitors to detect outages. Constant apologies for the inconvenience from customer care does not solve the problem. What is the point of phoning their customer care. They don't bother coming back to you like they assure you they will do. I had to borrow somebody else's phone who is on another network to be able to make the call to customer care because one can't even make a call to their customer care when there is no network coverage, only emergency calls. I've had to buy another network sim card because I cannot be without a phone for work purposes. I am on contract. Is Vodacom going to refund me for the 5 days I haven't had service - I don't think so. The time it is taking in this day and age to have this problem sorted out is unacceptable - 5 days without coverage! Absolutely unacceptable. Time to switch to another network
