vodacom shocking cervice

I spoke to a consultant in regards to cancelling my contract that had become due for an upgrade. He offered me a new contract that seemed amazing to me over the phone. The contract he was offering me, cost R259.00 per month and I would get 350 minutes of talk time plus 500mb of data. I was impressed so I activated the new contract on the 9th January 2017. I found out on the 2nd February that I had no minutes of talk time and I was not even given the allocated 500mb of data. So I called into the call centre only to find out that I was put on the uChoose Flexi 350 Plan. On this plan you do not get any data and you only get R350 of talk time and not 350 minutes of talk time. This was unacceptable, so I was put through to the cancellation and upgrade division. There they told me that one of their consultants would sort this out for me. I waited until the next day and when I followed up, no action was taken. I then went in to the Vodacom store in Greenstone Mall and sat with a consultant, Victor, and together we called the Vodacom cancellation division to cancel this new contract, as I was brought under a misperception. When I was asked the security questions on the phone, I found out that my ID number had been altered and changed to a passport number. Victor pulled up my telephone number and file on his computer so that I could see the **** passport number and complete the security questions on the phone to the cancelation division (see attached scanned document with wrong ID). I spoke to a consultant who said the cancellation would take a few hours and the contract would be cancelled. So I waited till the following day. When it wasn’t done, I then went back to the Vodacom store to see the same consultant (Victor) and we checked on the system. Nothing was done in order to cancel the contract which was activated under false pretence. We then spoke to another consultant at the Vodacom call centre and they said they had no record of the cancelation. At this point I asked again that the contract be cancelled and was given a reference number for the cancellation (1- ********** 634739) (this was on 9 February 2017). This time I was told that the cancellation would take a few working days and it should be cancelled by the following Tuesday (14 February 2017). On the 14th February 2017 I spoke to another consultant at the call centre and again they had no record of an instruction by me to cancel the contract or of the reference number that was given to me. At this point I am told and promised again that this cancellation would be sorted out and I would get a sms and a phone call from Vodacom when it was done. This did not happen! I then went back to Vodacom store on the 15th February 2017 and called the call centre again as I had no feedback from the Vodacom customer service. The phone call was made at 12:18pm and I spoke to a consultant in the cancellation division named Kingsly Mokgabudi. He told me the cancellation had been escalated and that they would listen to the phone call recordings that they have at the time of this upgrade. I was told this would take 24 hours and that they would call me back. The time today is 13:08pm and I still don’t have an answer from Vodacom. I have been a loyal customer for more than 12 years, but this service is unacceptable.
