Vodacom "service" sucks - what service?

- In early June 2018 we renewed my cellphone contract in Vodacom shop in Galleria, Amanzimtoti - [less than 1 month ago] - when we got home we discovered that the SIMcard in my old phone would not fit the new phone [Samsung] - why did the consultant renewing my contract not advise me properly? - so the next day went to Vodacom in Southcoast Mall, Shelley Beach to obtain a new smaller SIMcard - on Monday 2nd July @ 18:41 I received an SMS telling me "Vodacom balance notification. For your information mandatory account limit reached - subscriber soft-locked" - on Tuesday 3rd July at 8:40am we visited Vodacom in Southcoast Mall to enquire what had happened, where we were advised that because we had taken a new contract which cost more per month than the previous contract, and the consultant in Galleria had not advised us to increase the credit limit, my contract had been blocked - why not? This new consultant called two different Vodacom "head office" numbers/people to have my contract unblocked and we were advised that all would be resolved in 1 to 4 hours. Which it was not - on Wednesday 4th July at 9:00am we visited The Pavillion Vodacom shop [as we had to travel to Durban] where a consultant advised us she was aware that we had registered an unblock request on the Vodacom system - she called Babalo in Customer Acquisitions and we were again advised that all our queries/complaints were registered, but if we were patient all would be sorted out in 1-4 hours - it is now 4:26pm on day 3 of this saga and we still get a voice recording from Vodacom telling me that our "account has been suspended, please contact your service provider"... FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE CAN SOMEONE HELP? Incompetence everywhere - top to bottom. Every time we speak or visit Vodacom they say that they will increase the credit limit as per the new contract and all will be sorted in 1-4 hours - we even have an e-mail generated by Vodacom to confirm the phone contract is unblocked - BUT IT IS NOT!
