VODACOM service sucks (bigtime!)
It is IMPOSSIBLE to cancel your Vodacom contract. I have been trying since January and they are either unwilling or incapable of doing something as simple as this. There are other service providers in South Africa that will actually provide service. STAY AWAY from this company - it will take your money and make it impossible to cancel.
