VODACOM SERVICE NON EXISTENT - WHY SUPPORT THEM
I unfortunately have a prepaid contract with Vodacom. Have been a client with them since 1996. I have a contract where I pay an amount upfront and then get a money value that I can use for calls, sms's ect. Now that I want to cancel my contract I am told that I will loose the amount that is still available on my account. This is not fair as I did not purchase a contract where I get minutes or data why should I loose the money I should be able to use it. not true. I know of people with similar contracts that have lost minutes or credit balances. You have to give a 30 day notice period of one month which should then finish at midnight of the last day of the month. yet they just cancel it around 8am of the last day so whatever is still left in your account just gets lost. We as the customer have no rights as they are a large company who is ripping all of us off and they just do not care how they are ripping of us off. This is all so unfair to us as the consumer. Also the call centre is no good either. Spoke to Zandile who made me wait for 22 minutes to speak to a manager when he Adolphus eventually gets on the phone. There is so much noise in the background neither can I hear him or he hear me then I get told it is a call centre but when speaking to Zandile there was no noise, do these people think we are stupid really. Needless to say I got no where with this matter.
THE RATING FOR VODACOM SHOULD BE MINUS 100 THEY ARE USELESS
