VODACOM SERVICE LEVEL
I was contacted by a consultant to say my number qualify for an top-up sim package. After explaining to the sales person that I do not want a new cellular number as I have used my number for several years, I was told no problem and the contract was concluded via telephone. Several times during this conversation I told the lady I will only take this service if they port the number to a contract. This never happened and a new sim card was delivered and not even opened. I cancelled this services on 14 May 2020 ref number *** to cancel said contract. Then I was told within 7 working days it will be cancelled. 5 June 2020 I went to the Vodacom shop at Lakeside mall to be told I have an outstanding account of nearly R535.00 for a sim card I never even opened and I contract I cancelled. THIS IS UNACCEPATLE. Do they even know what they are doing there. I have to wait another 14 days in order to cancel something I never wanted in the first place !!!

Moe importantly how do Vodacom provide a service !!! Ram has not been in contact and this is now nearly a month since my initial request. Not only can I not get my package sorted out but its been listed that I owe Vodacom in excess of R500.00. Please explain how this will be corrected and me as the "loyal" Vodacom customer of nearly 20 year are treated as though I am at fault ????
