Vodacom Service is Pathetic - Stay Away from a Debit Order with Vodacom

Long drawn-out battle of incompetence. Do not believe when they tell you on Hello Peter or through their back-office SMS that your issue has been resolved. I have now been handed over to a senior person named Andile Hlatshwayo who has once again committed to investigate, resolve, and restore my original contract negotiated on 8 May. The following senior leaders Philile Dlamini, Tshedza.Ramavhale, Curtis Green, Mantombi (head of the platinum group) Nlungisi all of whom are senior staff failed dismally in either following up communication or resolving the problem created by them. In my opinion, besides the pathetic support one received, the automated system of Vodacom is a gut-wrenching experience of calls dropping, calls cut or you are diverted to rating the system without receiving any help. Most agents although one has connected with them do not call you back when the calls dropped. You have to start the process all over again. In an upgrade, there is a disconnect between the system (add on services) and your contract. Somehow the two cannot be connected. This is a serious operational flaw in their system. On their side they see allocation and on my side, there is no allocation. So you sit and argue but they will insist the system is right. You will get penalized for withholding your payment (as a matter of principle) and they will add interest, but as a client, you have no way of penalizing Vodacom. What is rightfully yours that you pay for disappears as if it never existed and it seems like they don't care. A deeply traumatic time and the trauma still continues. Your time, effort, and costs associated with trying to resolve your problem with Vodacom will never be compensated by them. You lose every step of the way and they will make you pay, no matter how unjust it is because they have your bank details. Don't do debit orders with Vodacom, rather pay cash monthly, then they do not have the corporate stranglehold over you.
