Vodacom Service #epicfail

On the 4th April 2017, I received an Upgrade Order Confirmation Email from Vodacom Order Number: VODACOMONLIN- ********** ********** 72. 7 Days later I had still not received my order - I then followed up directly with Vodacom on ********** and they informed me that my online order had been cancelled.

I was surprised as I did not cancel the order. The agent that assisted me informed me that it was a system error and apologised for the inconvenience and then gave me 1 GB free data for 24 months as a gesture of goodwill.

I then received a phone call from RAM Couriers on Thursday, 13th April to confirm my delivery. I had to give them my correct delivery address (to my work) as Vodacome has provided them with my residential address. The Order Confirmation e-mail stated my correct delivery address.

I called vodacom this morning and spoke to an agent who said I must call RAM Couriers directly - She failed to provide me with my Waybill number. I then had to call Vodacom again to ask for the Waybill number.

Thereafter, I then contacted RAM and they advised that they cannot assist me as Vodacom needs to authorise the change of delivery address and send this to RAM via email - I then ask... Why must the Customer be inconvenienced by having to call Vodacom to educate them on the correct internal process they need to follow?!

Aldo, the Complaints Manager at RAM Couriers, informed me that he receives these kinds of complaints on a daily basis. This makes Vodacom look very unprofessional and ***********!!

If this is not sorted out today I will have no choice but to cancel my contract with Vodacom!

The service I have received from Vodacome was definitely a negative defining moment :-(
