VODACOM SERVICE EPIC FAIL!

I'd like to complain about the terrible service from Vodacom! We have been excellent customers of Vodacom and feel very disappointed in the lack of service we have received recently. I'm at the end of my tether! My wife and I both cancelled our month-to-month Vodacom contracts in December 2016 as we were moving to New Zealand. We were told that our last debit order would go off a the end of January 2017.

This was true in my wife's case, however another debit order went off my bank account at the end of February. I have made 2 call so the 082111 number which cost my nearly R700 as I was bounced from one department to the next being put on hold for extended periods of time. Very frustrating and expensive. It should be a simple task to establish that there has been no activity on the cell phone number in question for the billing period in question and then to just refund the money.

My wife approached the various Vodacom Facebook pages for assistance, but still nothing! The refund is only R915-89 and we've spent most of that on phone calls, but its a principle thing! The query ref. number is 1- ********** ********** . Cell phone number in question is ********** 007.

If you can help, I'd be very grateful!

Many thanks and kind regards,

Brett - + ********** 9255 (my NZ mobile - we are 10 hours ahead of SA)
**********
