*********** Vodacom Service Center Employee "Timera"

I am contracted with Vodacom for 36 months, 1 Year and 2 months into my contract, Whilst on a video call, I noticed my screen coming off the Huawei device I have, The screen came off completely without it falling or any negligence on my part, Took the device to the Vodacom service center in umhlanga, My phone was booked in, I recieved an SMS stating I need to accept or decline the costs attached to getting my device sorted,

I called the center to clarify what payment was required as my device was under warranty for 24 months, if was a manufacture fault not a consumer fault, A lady who had given her name as "Timera" had informed me that Huawei warranty does NOT cover for what ever had happened to my device, She than advised I could claim from my insurance, the excess would cost me R291, Further stated they are awaiting my consent to go ahead,

I declined and advised "Timera" not to do anything, I will take this further, I did ask for her technicians name dealing with my device and she stated that she can not give out the technicians name, they are not allowed to.

Right after ending the call, I got ahold of the Huawei Service center who advised me to being the device in for assessment, The device was assessed and almost immediately was told the device would be covered under warranty, The device was booked in on the 12.09.2023 and was released on the 13.09.3023, That's a day later, my screen was replaced and ready for pick up,

This brings me to question the type of people who are being employed at brand named companies, Global Industries, These type of people "Timera", Should not be employed to represent such a big company, It's because of this specific individual Vodacom has lost a client, I have no interest in upgrading my contract with them, If their employees can not value their clients, and provide the best service they could possibly can rather lose the unappreciative staff and replace them with others who are in dire need of a job, People who will value their jobs, and go the extra mile.

I will be awaiting for Vodacom Service Center in umhlanga Ridge, Zenneth Drive, the manager to give me a call to make me understand how did this happen and why did it happen?

Someone must be accountable for this *********** service.

I think this is taking quite a long time for you guys to contact me, I refuse to ignore the ***********, audacious staff Vodacom has working for them,

Vodacom you are employing people who really don't appreciate their job, so much so fearlessly they turning down your clients and bravely advising that the warranty on the Huawei device does not cover for my screen coming off on its own.

It's been a few months since this incident, and after my last responce requesting for the person who provided me with incorrect information to give me a call, That hasn't happened, not only that but.i see you guys decided to completely ignore my last responce and just not respond?

Is this the new customer service experience Vodacom offers? Where employees get to brand damage the one of the most well known telecoms company? So I should be expecting poor, unprofessional service from Vodacom moving forward!!!!

Vodacom, Your name is being dragged through slander because of *********** employees which you refuse to let go off!!! My question is WHY???

I come back to this review specifically to share my dissatisfaction and complete disgust once again. What's shocking is that 8 to 10 months down the line my device the same one which was repaired due to the screen just falling off without it the actual device Falling, happened once again, twice in under 2 years, what's more surprising than this, was me being embraced once again with the very same employee who gave me incorrect information the first time around, never learnt a lesson since than, repeated the exact same way of terible customer services, providing the same incorrect information and with attitude.

Shocked out of my mind, To realize that this "Timera Chetty" still works for the Vodacom repairs center in umhlanga zenith drive, still speaks to clients with complete disregard and arrogance, and still as blonde as the very first time we spoke, Without giving me a call to let me know that according to her Huawei doesn't cover for screen damage which wasn't even the issue at hand, She again tried calling through my insurance without my knowledge or even the go ahead, When I called in and she advised me that Huawei doenst cover this, I discovered it was the same *********** employee I spoke to a year ago, trying to sell me the same BS as she did before, She closed off my job number by incorrectly stating on the sms that the job was done and was ready for collection when infact she just closed the job as I advised I will be picking up the device and taking it to the Huawei service center in cornubia where they had advised it most definately would be covered if it was not a fault of mine, Same as the last time.

Now, with this being the second time around where the exact same scenario occurred, Until I get answers you will be hearing from me often, very often, I will not leave this matter like I did the last time... Someone definately doesn't appreciate and value their job, in a space of a year she has learnt absolutely nothing, and if poeple like these are to continue being the face of your network, Vodacom will eventually become a name of the past, and that would be a very sad day.

I mean this is quite ridiculous, I have given you guys enough time to get back to me, my contact has almost come to an End, and here we have no reply with this now being my 5yh mesaage over a year,

So now I am going to write to the ombudsman, Someone who is genuinely interested in I'm solving my issue with fairness, and to bring forward the uncanny, unprofessional, and ********* service the Vodacom customer repair center in umhlanga "TIMERA"

Many people are finding it hard to find an OK paying job, But here we have untrained, unskilled, unqualified individuals with jobs who have no interest at all in actually keeping it and valuing it..

Good day,

Trust your well,

I would love to know who gave that indication that the matter was handled and resolved? Pleasr do share with me when was I contacted and this issue was resolved?, I will tell you what actually happened today though,

I recieved 3 calls, One after the other, How clever was the person on the other end? , Each time I answered they disconnected, I believe the rule is we try at least 3 times before we take a clients complaint and decide thats as far as we go with assisting a client, However from my experience and knowledge, the person calling should call at 3 different times in the day, or call once each day for 3 days, that's a better chance of getting a client to answer,

In any case, I called the number back, the exact same voice I heard two years ago, as well as one year ago was the same one I heard today, When I had told her that they tried contacting me, She proceeded to ask if I have a Vodacom device in for repairs, I told her I did not, she than asked me to please hold, Came back onto the line and said that she apologizes it most definately was a mistake.

Is that how you guys handle and resolve client complaints? Than say out to the public that the matter has been resolved? NO, NO, No matter not resolved!!!!!! What's frutstaing is that Vodacom still has the exact same individual representing their brand by picking up when clients call, It is very disappointing that although this complaint has been going unseen for just about 2 years or more, The employee failed to acknowledge the wrong and just apologize like a. Y other human, instead decided to go a completely different route by asking me if I checked in a device for repairs,

Vodacom there are genuine people out there who would do just about anything to protest your brand, and not slash and tarnish it's reputation.

I shall be waiting for a proper conclusion
