VODACOM **** SERVICE!

On Saturday 8 July 2017, I went to get a sim swap at the Cresta Vodacom, I went to all three outlets in the mall and they all kept recieving an error when trying to complete the sim swap. The issue was escalated to technical I was given this reference number: INC 00 ********** 193.

I've been calling technical and the call centre since Monday and neither of them can tell me what's going on. Only to find out yesterday that the query that was logged with technical was not even being attended to because the consultant at Cresta did not provide enough information.

Upon finding that out I called the Cresta outlet to ask why they had not provided the technical team with information to resolve my issue, for them to tell me that actually everything is fine and I can do a sim swap. Great.

This morning on my way to another outlet I get a call from your technical people who then tell me that they have only recieved the necessary information now and are working to resolve my issue. When I sked if I can go get my sim swap now as relayed to me by the Cresta cosultant - she tells me no because they have oly just started working on it now.

Really?

First question is why did the Cresta person lie? Saying I cando my sim swap to then quickly send the information - post my query?

Secondly why the hell is it taking so long to fix an issue with your own sim cards? How is Vodacom gettting error messages they do not know how to fix or what they mean? How sway? How?

I use this sim card for work, I need to have it active. Do you care at all about your customers and the inconvinience that is posed to them by *********** staffers?

Fine, I decided I will follow up with the call centre throughout today. On my first call to Abongile, who has honestly been the only helpful person in this process. She tells me that my query is closed. When she calls technical they tell her that it was escalated to some other lady.

Upon asking how they were supposed to recieve information on wheher it's resolved given that on their side the query is closed, he tells her that there's not much he can tell her because he would need more information from the person, which is fair - but how would I know if anything is resolved if the call centre for customer care would not recieve this information due to the query reflecting as closed on their side?

I am just a girl who wants to have a successful sim swap by the end of today, that is all. I need that number to be active.
