Vodacom Senior Citizen ****mers
It’s just sad and frustrating that a big company like vodacom treats it’s customers like nothing , in October I went to Vodacom the groove with my mother who happened to be a senior citizen, excited to get a new phone via contract and we were assisted by Michael who advised us to take Honor instead of Samsung and he convinced us why we should take it and my mother fell inlove with the phone, and everything was sorted we got the phone , went home with it she charged it and went to sleep then the following day , the phone percentage has not increased but instead it was on the same percentage as she charged it last night. We then took the phone back the following day after the purchase, they checked it in store and saw that it wasn’t charging and remember this is a new phone and we were told that they are going to sent it for repair and they will update us as to what is happening and I even ask , how Come a brand new phone refuse to charge and on top of that you are going to fix it and my mom should use the same phone I’m not happy about this , then the consultant (Michael ) said no when it comes back we will exchange it and I asked him again what is going to happen about the deductions since we don’t have a phone why don’t we just cancel the contract or rather get another make , and he assured us not to worry about the debit order it will be reversed. Ohk the phone was taken to their technician and I got updates and my mother was not around which I couldn’t go alone because it’s her contract, on Saturday we visited Vodacom the grove to pick up the phone or change it and we were told that it was not fixed because it was Physical damage,I mean physical damage how if everything in the charging port is still tacked, nothing is broken how did she damage the charging port the same day she bought the phone? Is this how Vodacom treats its clients what kind of business are you running, a ****a shop? I’m very disappointed in the way you handled this situation, what a reap off you took that moment from my mother to enjoy a new phone but instead you just caused her stress and depression as to now she must fix what she didn’t break and after continue to pay for the phone. Please stop 🛑 mistreating older people and take advantage of them , stop hiring people who have no customer services and who do not put themselves in customer ‘s shoes. A colleague of mine was also complaining about you because the same thing happened to her mother the poor woman never came to vodacom to apply for a contract but now money it’s been deducted from her account for what we don’t know. If that’s how you make money by robbing senior citizens, you will not see heaven.
