Vodacom sells out of stock items on contract

On Sunday the 19th of July I entered into a Vodacom contract with Vodacom sales consultant Bradley, for the Huawei P8 Smartphone + the Huawei Talkband on a uChoose Flexi 150 contract @ R269.00 per month.<br> I was advised by Bradley, the sales consultant, that the Talkband, the item that I most wanted, was not currently in stock, but assured that I would receive it by Wednesday 21/07/2015 or Thursday 22/07/2015 at the latest. <br> With this assurance I entered into the contract.<br> I was supp**** with the Huawei P8 Lite Smartphone, no Talkband but a till slip which I need to produce in order to collect the Talkband when it arrives. <br> On Thursday 22/07/2015 I went to the store to collect the Talkband, but was advised that it had not come in yet.<br> At this point I requested either they provide the Talkband or cancel the contract, as Vodacom could not provide a definite delivery date.<br> I asked for the store manager, who refused to accept the phone back, claiming it is now a used phone.<br> But they will continue to deduct payments for a component that has not been delivered.<br> Calls to Vodacom customer care were useless, as they said I should take it up with the store manager.<br> Beware Vodacom contracts
